I?m interested in using my t610 to access internet using my laptop an
bluetooth but using a standard dialup service instead of the GPR
service. When I configure my dialup connection using Windows XP th
computer tries to dial the number, the phone also tries the connectio
but it inmediately gives me a no answer error message. Has anyone eve
tried this setup

I connect to the internet via my t610. I use the inferred instead of the
bluetooth (which should be a bettwe connection  than the inferred). Which
server are you using?

Which carrier are you using?
If AT&T they do not support this function.

Do you have the software download from SE that's supposed to help with
Windows XP/2000 dialups?
If not, go to www.sonyericsson.com, support, t-610, drivers and scripts
to get the download. Don't know if this will help or not, but it's worth
a shot.
Unfortunately, this appears to just be for IR and not for Bluetooth
connections.
There's also a dial-up networking wizard under the "synchronization" menu.

I?m in Venezuela and I use a local GSM operator. I think the problem i
not with the ISP but a problem between windows and the phone. When
use GPRS it works fine, but there are certain places where there is n
GPRS service and I need to use a regular IS
