Can anyone tell me how to get the external display to show a contacts image
when receiving an incoming call?

The SE Z800 web page

clearly shows an image
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&lc=en&ver=4000&template=pp1_1_1&zo
ne=pp&lm=pp1&pid=10205  and the desktop
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&lc=en&ver=4000&template=pp1_loader
&php=php1_10205&zone=pp&lm=pp1&pid=10205 on the display but I'm not able to
get it to display either.

Simply goto the picture you want to use, press MORE then USE and add to
contact, simple....

Nope!!
Sorry that doesn't work!  All that does is add an image to the contact which
is fine but the image doesn't appear on the external display.  I can't find
any way to do this!
It seems there's no popint in having a colour external display if you can't
use it to show incoming picture caller ID.
A clever bit of marketing by SE methinks!

Bearing in mind I don't have one, yet - But I've been looking around
various forums and been seeing the same question over and over, and it
looks like this "image" is just a wallpaper and is not the image of
the caller (If one is associated with a number.)  By the looks of it,
it as a ploy, but the phone still looks good enough to make me want to
get one, soon!
