Wonder if anyone elsa has had this:

Although recongising the phone on my PC(Win XP Pro) via a USB cable, I get error messages if I try to list files - is there an upgrade to the file manager that's shipped with the phone??

Works fine with serial cable for me with the UK supplied CD version of the
s/w. If you visit SE's web site (K700/Support), you will find the latest
version.

I can connect my phone up to a bluetooth dongle, but it doesn't appear in
"My Phones"

I'm not using a BT dongle at the mo but when I did with WinXP SP1 & the
Widcomm stack (used by most dongles), I had to enable the same virtual com
port as the *Client* one listed in the BT software options: Client Apps tab,
the com port should be listed under Bluetooth Serial Port. Go to Control
Panel, Phone Monitor Options, Com Port tab & set it there. You may need to
also set that v com port to Reserved. Installing BT dongles correctly with
XP SP2 is more complicated. You may also like to visit these sites:

For installing BT dongles with WinXP SP2:

Once you have this working, all SE s/w should see the phone over BT.
