Hi
Just 'upgraded' to T610 from Nokia phone, and I cant find a way of quickly
dialing a given number -
on my Nokia, i went into phone book, and tapped in the first 2 or 3 letters
of name, and pressed dial
On the T610, as I tap through letters, it resets the search (eg, type R,I,P
looking for Ripper, and it ends up on first P entry). Therefore, I have to
go to the correct letter, and scroll through all my contacts until I find
the correct one
Any way round this?
I know you can assign 9 numbers for speed dial, by storing them on SIM, and
that you can voice dial, but that takes longer than looking it up in the
phone book
I also know about the recent calls list, but that doesnt always have the
number on it, and if it does, its in a random position
Also, it takes many, many keypresses to send a sms - any way of speeding
this up?
I LOVE the GPRS stuff on this phone tho, seems a lot more responsive than
the Nokia one, also SMSs go a lot quicker
thanks

you can access ANY number saved to the sim by pressing it's storage
place followed by # like this:
Ripper is saved as SIM entry No. 36, just press 36# and voila there it
is. Now you can even scroll through.
This works on almost any mobile, independent from its manufacturer.
