A couple of years ago Fido had a page where you could subscribe to SMS
list for the weather or the horoscope ... It doesn't seem to exist
anymore ?

Do I have any other altenative ? Free one of course ! :)

And does anyone know of a way to make MSN messenger compatible to Fido
using MSN mobile services (mobile.msn.com) or is it just impossible...
?

Thanx

anything other than sms from cell phones will be charged to you.  Unless you
subscribe to a sms package I believe..

I don't think it matters as long as your phone can receive sms. You
might also want to check out sympatico and yahoo. They both provide
similar services (not as extensive as me43 but they are free)

iFido was replaced with something from Bell Sympatico. You can find a
link to it from the Fido web site:

And also why are sms now 15 cent instead of 10 ? It doesn't make
sense.

That make some sense ! But <Thinking only of myself> I should be
receiving more sms form the web then from an other cell !!</TOOM> and
I guess that in some way it also must apply to other people !? What
about the news and the sports and the horoscope ... :)

Anyway ... ok ... Thanx !

Which makes it a double rip off. They upped the price of outgoing, and
still charge incoming for what most people use SMS for.

Rogers prepaid's incoming SMS is completely free (with a 5000msg/month
limit which I consider totally reasonable). TTYL

2500 a month.  Still plenty and web messages, messenger messages etc..
