I got a Rogers SE T616 that had been unlocked. Works fine for voice with
my Fido SIM.
However, it won't work for GPRS. I tried using it on a Bluetooth
connection with my laptop, the same way I access the web with a Fido T610,
but it wouldn't work.
Is there a way of getting around this?

You have to set up a profile for the Fido GPRS settings, and then instruct
your laptop to use that profile (usually by modifying the dial up number).
Do a google search, the procedure is different for every model of phone,
and you'll need the specific settings for Fido.

I did all that already. The T610 works fine but the T616 won't work.

Never mind, I forgot I need to run the SE networking wizard again for the
T616 and save the settings on the new phone. Works fine with both phones
now.
