Hi all,
Does anyone know the Fido services dept (phone: 18882593436) office hrs? The
message says that they are open from 8:30~5:00 EDT. However, when I call
them at 7:30 MDT (I am in Calgary), they are still close.  I had called them
on the day few times, but I waited for more than 30 mins and no one ans,
eventually I give up waiting. I just want to cancel one of my Fido.
Thanks

Actually, during weekdays, I think they are opened until 20:00 or 21:00.

In reality, the dogs work until midnight eastern time. But the voice
system tells callers from the east the offices are closed, while callers
from the west get directed to the 4 legged furry reps.

You used to be able to get around those office hours by dialing the
local numbers for a city. (eg: a montrealer could get service at 23:00
by calling the vancouver number) But since they removed the local
numbers and switched to the 800 number, you can't bypass their office
hour limits anymore.

hmmm, I understand now.
However, the 888 number dept is not the same dept when users dial "611" at
the handset. It is an account dept. The problem is that the "611" dept
cannot cancel any account.
Thanks,
Egghead
