Is anybody using EDGE via FIDO?

If so how fast and where are you?

Mine varies from 60 KBPS down to 28 KBPS.

Depending how many green bars on S-meter.

What is EDGE specifically ? Is it just a "branding" of standard GPRS
service where more bandwidth has been allocated ?

Or does it require hanssets that have specific EDGE capabilities ?

(I realise that Rogers doesn't have EDGE on 1900).
