razr from Fido

Has anyone been able to order the Razr phone from Fido directly. Every time
I try to order it, they say they have to check if it is available "for me"
and then tell me there are technical problems. I suspect the phone is
available for some, and not all.

If you have been able to order one directly from Fido please post a note,
and let me know where you reside.

The RAZR's a mediocre phone at best. You're better off getting a V551 or
V634, if you want a Motorola. Feature-wise, they're identical if not better
than the RAZR, and they have better audio quality and RF performance. It's
the latter two that really matter, after all.
