Why is it that this group is SO dead lately?  Informative articles by JF
Mezei, yes, and the usual $pam from GSM unlockers... but nothing else... so
sad.

That being said, a friend of mine has a SonyEricsson P800 for sale with two
cradles, and several accessories.  Reply in the newsgroup if you're
interested, and I'll pass your email address on to him.  Asking price is
around $150 US / $170 CDN.

Well, Fido no longer exists and there are no new developments coming out
of fido, only price increases. And Rogers isn't out to enlarge its
network very much, they have enough ddbts to pay to convert themselves
to GSM, then buy back shares that AT&T held in Rogers Wireless AND buy
Microcell. Not sure if they can even afford G3 at this time.

And in fairness, back in the glory days of Fido, it was Steve Punter and
others (Martin Renter comes to mind) who made the big contributions to
the newsgroup.

Almost everybody's gone to www.HowardForums.com... I see Steve Punter
posts there once in a while.
