As on Tuesday very AM (02:00), when sending an email from a handset via
the GPRS.FIDO.CA SMTP server, the emails are actually forwarded to
destination by 204.92.15.223
This IP current does not have reverse translation, and that is one very
basic check most receiving SMTP servers make to block spam.
Hence, when you send emails from your handset, it us very likely that
they will not make it to the intended recipient. (and the fido SMTP
server has nowhere to send the non delivery notification except to your
"real" email address, and the SMTP server that handles that address will
also likely discard the message as a spam.

as of this afternoon, thne problem, has been fixed and the .223 address
resolves to aegis.fido.ca. they were using the .224 address earlier in
the day (leda.fido.ca)
