i too have tried the manual codes to setup call forwarding. they don't
work. according to fido's CSR, the "service must be forwarded to
something. PERIOD."
it'd be nice if they let us determine the number of seconds before
unanswered calls get forwarded. but i suppose that would constitute being
customer focused, which is not what the "New Fido" is about.
Oh yeah, has anybody also noticed that the voicemail greeting message
option has been changed. no longer can we record a temporary/special
greeting. now i'll have to spend 20-30 recording attempts to re-record a
standard greeting after each time i setup a temporary greeting message.
can't wait for the new cell providers to come to town... hopefully the
credit crunch won't delay their arrival.

It will definitely delay any rollouts of new towers, although if they're
just renting tower access from the existing carriers then it might not
slow anything down.

So just forward the calls to Fido CSR :-D.
