Using GPRS on T68i

Works great for the email... using with  Bluetooth on my palm, its great and
fast.  however, when I want to use the same gprs connection to browse the
web, its so slow, no matter how small the page.  Anything I should know ?

Fido have a proxy server you can configure that will compress the images. It
will affect the image quality, of course, but it will be much faster for
loading the pages.

Check the GPRS guide that came with your phone if you recently purchased
your phone. If not, there's a small section about it on Fido's website at:

when told to access rapido.fido.ca  i get a timeout on gateway after a
minute or two... I got the instruction manual... but no mention of that
problem

   Not really, Fido GPRS in my area is too slow to be usable. TTYL
