Hi, everytime I download a ringtone, the phone will 'reboot' itself
and the ringtone won't be saved. Anyone find a way to get around the
problem yet?
Or has a new firmware been released yet?
Thanks,
Tim.

Dunno, I have no such problems with mine.
Is your unit coming from Fido?

Hi thanks for replying. Yes mine is a fido. Actually the ringtone i
tried to download is a monophonic tone, didn't get a chance to
download a polyphonic tone or pictures yet.
Thanks again,
tim.

I tried and I've been able to download monophonic and polyphonic ringtones.
What is your firmware version? You can check it by dialing *#0000#
Mine is: V X3.06 16-05-03 NPM-6X (C) NMP
Also, how are you trying to download them? I simply put them on my personal
web server and access it directly... ie. www.somehost.com/ringtone.mid

Yes, it is a well known bug. It happens every time you receive
a "standard" ringtone via sms.
Don't know if there's a new firmware yet.
