I called in recetly, they told me that you're eligible if you've been on the
same plan for 18 straight months.

There is ways around that ;o)
Right now as we speak im getting my 310 fed exd to me.
Ive been with fido for over 2 years and had 3 phones. You gotta talk to the
right people in customer service...
Amazing phone. Reception is WOW !!! SE T68i is Sony Ericsson... that says it
all... poor reception !!! Features on the S55 are very nice and bluetooth
and GPRS are awesome with a Pocket PC. Camera is OK, but do you want a
camera or a phone ? Another great piece of German engineering...

Great phone. I personally wouldn't buy it from Fido -- it's
$400 Cdn (before taxes) *after* the activation credit and
the phone is locked. I got mine from www.expansys.us for
$400 Cdn after shipping, brokerage and taxes and it's
unlocked (and uncustomized). Even better, I returned the
camera, and now my cost for the phone is under $300 Cdn
(after taxes, etc.).

I am eligible for the upgrade, if i can convince Fido to knock the
price down to $200 and I will get it for sure... since I am not going
anywhere soon. Even so, I still have my 8890 with me.

If you buy from expansys.us, will the Canada Custom charges taxes as
well? I see the web site they charged 7% taxes for Canadian orders. I
don't want to buy from US is because I hate the way custom charge
taxes + UPS brokeage and stuff.
