I can't seems to find any information on whether new subscribers still
get the activation credits if they choose the City Fido service.
ie.  Buy a Seimens A56 for $125, sign up on 20/200 plan get a bill
credit for $75.

Same credit if you choose City Fido 40/unlimited?

Yes, I know about the $50 one time fee, but if the above credit is
available, then they cancel each other out, no?

It is just like a normal plan.

So if you buy a phone..you are purchasing it on a monthly account..so
you do get the credit. And Fido stores actually do instant credit, so
you go there..the A56 is $50..you only pay $50 plus tax. And then you
get the $50 management fee on your invoice, or maybe they make you pay
the management fee in the store.

So it's the cost of the phone on a monthly activation plus the
management fee.

You don't have to wait for a bill credit at fido stores, you can get
an instant credit on the handsets.

Several hundred fido resellers, not just their corporate locations, provide
instant rebates. Adding another 100 locations next week..

If they provide instant rebates...then what happens if someone cancels their
CityFido 1 month later?   Who is responsible for the credit paid back to the
dealer?

Read the website please, if you cancel before 3 months, you MUST pay
the full price of the handset.
