A long long time ago, it was Ericsson in the east and Nortel in the west. Not
sure what the current status is.
Also not sure why there would be such a split, especially when you consider
the order cities were rolled out. (Montreal then Vancouver then toronto).

Mostly Nortel is used, upgrading from Ericsson in allot of other areas.

Manitoba to BC is ALL Nortel... Ontario is now mostly Nortel and Quebec to
the Maritimes is Ericsson...
