That's fine, will be cancelling that one soon.

Any requirement for staying on it? Can you move to pay as you go the
next day?

It is unlocked.

Correct, I would be switching to a published AT&T plan, this "deal" lets
me get a SIM and phone for free. FWIW I'm switching from Fido since the
building I now work in has Telus, Bell and Rogers repeaters, but no Fido,
so Fido is useless to me (more so).

No problem, won't be on a post paid plan with them anyways. My usage is
rather low.

As long as Fido has coverage of where you are, personally it's rare for
my phone to GET coverage during the course of a day.

Few consumers know enough to understand the benefits so I don't see that
happening any time soon.

They don't know because Fido never capiotalized on its asset. Just like it
denied having DATA services years before all others, and only reluctantly
admitted to it after all the other announced theirs.
But consider current ads where Fido has no problem flaunting its per-second
billing. They could simply add "and we only start to charge you when the phone
answers, not when you start dialing" and that would be a great marketing thing.
I really don't think that send-to-end generated significant revenus for Fido,
at least not for postpaid customers.

Who cares about the answer-to-end with what was released in Vancouver and
coming in other cities soon? lol.

As has been mentioned here that plan is useless to some of us. I for one
have DSL, cable is not an option, therefore I have no choice but to keep a
land line. TTYL

You have a cell and a land line right now, don't you? You don't NEED to get
rid of your land line to get CityFido. Just pay the few extra dollars per
month and get it.

I pay $10 a month for cell, that's how much I use it, so it's not a few
extra dollars. I use my land line whenever possible. TTYL
