i finally got sick of the poor reception and rickety keypad on my t200 and
got a free a56 from fido.  so far, i like it.  it doesn't have gprs but i
only really used that to check movie times and things anyways.
the signal strength seems much stronger on it, which is a big plus for me.
a few questions:
-does it have a calling card feature?  i can't find one, but i know this
info is sometimes hidden away.
-is there a way to set the backlight to stay on longer?  i can set how long
it takes for the wallpaper/screensaver to come on, but can't figure out
if/where i can control the backlighting duration.
-any other good tips/tricks for it?
-do most siemens phones all use a standard adapter (kind of like how the
t28, t39, t200, t68, t300, t310 all use the same charger and data cable)?  i
have a good headset i'd like to be able to keep using. i had an adapter for
it for the t200 which cost $10 or so.

if i like it a lot, i might end up getting the fancier siemens phone fido is
now carrying.

I think after the launch of the SE T616 this month, Fido will be releasing
the Siemens SL56 if that interests you.
