hihi,

I have a weird problem.  I often receive the message "City---" on my
phone.  I also noticed that I have access to the menu "Broadcast"
under "Message" on my 8890.  However, on my 5190, I see the "News &
Info" services.

Does anyone knows what's going on here?

it's suppose to display "City" on your phone to tell you whether or
not you're within the local 604 unlimited calling zone. when "City" is
displayed, your local airtime within 604/778 is unlimited. if you
don't see "City" and cell broadcast is on that means you're outside
the unlimited zone and roaming charges will apply.

hmm... interesting... but I only received it once and I am in
Richmond...

According to the CityFido map, isn't it the whole Greater Vancouver
area is unlimited?  I am in Richmond, Vancouver and Surrey and only
received it once.  Will I be charged for roaming even I am within
Vancouver?
