I am currently using a T200 (from the first Fido shipment) with original
firmware and I don't seem to have any problems with it other than the fact
that it doesn't always turn on right away after I press the power button.

I know that there is an updated firmware because the logo on mine when
starting up takes up the whole screen while on others I have seen, it is
only in the middle of the screen.

Does anyone know if it is worth updating the firmware for this phone?

Thanks,

Joe

If you are not having problems I wouldn't advise updating it.

To find out what firmware you have type:

is there any way of reducing the backlight to a few seconds only?
