Hello,

I have an SE T310 and a Sony CLie SJ22 running Palm OS 4.1.  I am
trying to connect to Fido GPRS using IrDA.  I have searched for days
and tried many different ways to connect my palm to the internet.
Every time I try to connect, I get a message on my phone saying "GPRS
Parameters Not Supported"  My configuration is as follows:

Connection:

Name: Wireless
Connect to: PC
Via: Infrared

Speed: 57,600
Flow: Ctl off

Network:
Service: Fido GPRS
Username: fido
Password: fido
Connection: Wireless

Connection type: PPP
Idle timeout: Never
Query DNS: Checked
IP Address: Checked

Script:

Send atz
Send CR
Send at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internet.fido.ca","0.0.0.0",0,0
Send CR
Send at+cgqreq=1,0,0,0,0,0
Send CR
Send atd*99#
Send CR
End

I have tried many different setups that I have found in newsgroups and
I always get the same message "GPRS Parameters Not Supported"

If someone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank
you

Sounds like you don't have GPRS enabled on your account, that's the message
I got until I enabled GPRS on my account. TTYL

If you do have GPRS enabled try changing the dialed number to *99***1#. TTYL

I do have GPRS enabled, and I tried using that number.  I still get
the same message.
