Hey ..

I want the V60i, but Fido is telling me two things:
1) they dont have any in stock
2) Fido outlets/stores may have them in stock but I cannot use the upgrade
program if I get it from the store.

Is #2 even accurate? I thought all it took was a call to HQ.

thanks

I'm getting the same thing.  Fido says they'll be getting some more this
xmas. But supply will be low.  Why is that?
BTW, did they tell u how much it would cost to get the V60 on the upgrade?

Supply will be low, because the demand is soo high. Seems like everyone was
waiting for a silver flip from Fido, even though that flip was a couple of
years old. Beats me.. I like the S55, M55, or the T616 much better..

I don't understand all this hype for flip phones. Admittedly they look a
lot like communicators used in Star Trek, but still... ;)

Anyway, I prefer the Nokia tricorder. :P

Actually it was the reason I chose Fido... Only Fido and Rogers were
selling Nokia phones, but at the time there was no GSM prepaid service
available on the Rogers network.
