I'd like to use the pre-paid service but I do not have any account with
fido. Would I have to buy a SIM card? How much would it cost?
Would any other Sim card work for fido pre-paid?
I live in Vancouver BC.

   Yes.

   $25+tax

It must be a Fido SIM card, one that has either not been activated or is
currently active, you cannot use a SIM that has "expired". TTYL

Go to the Fido "Flagship" store in the 400 block of West Georgia.  Buy
a SIM kit for $25.  Then you'll have to buy airtime vouchers.
Vouchers are $10  (30 day expiration), $25 (60 day expiration) at 30
cents/minute or you can get $15 (15 day expiration) or $30 (30 day
expiration) at 15 cents/minute.  To use Fido prepaid you need a Fido
prepaid SIM card.  No other SIM card will work.
