Maybe it's the season, maybe it's Telus, maybe it's Fido.  I tried to
make a couple of calls moments ago using Fido and I got "all circuits
are busy".

Where are you located? I haven't gotten that since August (the big power
outage, and even then I could still use the phone if I kept trying. People
on the other carriers were borrowing MY phone...).

I often get "System Busy" on my 6190 at the Lionel Groulx metro station in
montreal. Just try to redial once or twice and it gets through. Not enough to
make a big fuss about though.

Champlain Mall area - Killarney - Vancouver.

I got a fast busy signal while shopping at Richmond Mall , Richmond, BC

Friday, while using City Fido.

Also I notice that people were filling out account application forms at the
Fido store in Richmond Mall while the Telus cellular only had two customers
in it.

Wireless Wave  (the one with the half of the racing car in it) which sells
all 4 cellular brands were busy too.

Really!  I got a fast ring while shopping at MetroTown.

: Really!  I got a fast ring while shopping at MetroTown.

I've found recently that it is taking longer  to connect, about 10 seconds
to almost 30 seconds or
so.  But, most of the time it's below the above times.  Then again, I don't
use my Fido much.

Was talking to an employee at Wireless Wave who also has City Fido. He told
me that the contacted Fido and that these problems are attributed to the
huge popularity of City Fido.  Fido didn't expect it to be so successful.
But, he was told that the Fido techs are working to fix the problem.  Hmm.
