This summer i bought an unlocked T68i in England.

With my English SIM (or New Zealand or Australian SIM) I get 7 menu
items in the SMS/Options menu:

1.Service Centres
2.E-Mail Gateways
3.SMS type
4.Validity Period
5.Request Reply
6.Status Request
7.Long SMS

With a Fido, CityFone or Rogers SIM I only get:

1.Service Centres
2.E-Mail Gateways
3.Request Reply
4.Long SMS

I went to one of the service centres and they tried a phone with the
R8 SW (Mine has an R5 load), it only showed the 4 as well. One other
store looked a a phone and it only showed the 4 options.

Has anyone else got all 7 menu items in their T68i using one of the
Canadian SIMs? If so, what SW load is your phone running?

The one I really miss is the "Status Request" to tell me that a text
was delivered. I thought all phones had that nowadays. I mean, yah you
can put "111" at the begining of the message, but you shouldn't have
to.
Thanks

What menus you see is in part determined by which SIM you use.  It
will also make a difference which bootup logo you see as well.

Fido disabled those options.  Similar observation with other unlocked SE
phones.
