Just wanted to post this to make sure people know it exists. If you've
any updates, please let me know. I'm back from vacation now. :)

Sending and Receivng SMS From Toronto, to Ukraine works fine.  You can add
Ukraine to your working list.

Is there a particular cell company in Ukraine that it works with?

Don't forget that it makes a difference where you are when you send
the SMS. In the past 2 months, I've sent sms from Canada-Russia,
Canada-Philippines, Canada-Thailand, Russia-Thailand, Russia-China.
But Russia-Philippines didn't work. Also, Russia-Thailand is not
reliable as only about 30% of them make it through. I've sent from
Mongolia and China in the past (3/4 years ago) with no problems.
It also depends on the local carrier and seem to remember fido having
a web page that showed who they had SMS and WAP agreements with.

Oh wow, that's just way too complicated. I think I'll just keep track of
from Canada. But I'll add your note to it. :)

Interesting thing I discovered when sending an SMS to Netherlands:

If you put 111 before the message text it will go thru !
