I'm trying to connect my Toshiba 3750 (Pocket PC 2003) to Fido's GPRS
service using an Ericsson T68i. The phone's unlocked, but I don't think
that should cause any problems.
Every time I try to connect, the phone gives me the following error:
"GPRS parameters not supported."
The connection settings on the e750 are as follows:
modem: Generic IrDA
phone number: *99# (all dialing options disabled)
username: fido
password: fido
baud rate:57600
"Wait for dialtone before dialing" is off.
extra dial-string modem commands: +CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet.fido.ca"
Data options: 8N1, flow control off.
Terminal options are turned off.
server-assigned IP address
software compression and IP header compression are on.
server assigned DNS.
Any thoughts? Is there something that can be changed on the phone itself
maybe? Are my settings flawed?

It turns out I was getting this message because Fido had turned off my GPRS
access for some reason. Everything's back to normal now, though.
