Is there a phone on the market in the world that is dual mode that will do
all GSM modes (bands) and also have satellite fall back ie. Globestar
network?  A phone that will for example search for all GSM frequencies
850/1800/1900 and then if it can't access a GSM network or any GSM network
on those bands switch over to satellite? I am just curious.

I don't 6340 has a satellite mode, although that phone is so big, you'd
expect it to do so :)

Anyway, there is a globestar phone with CDMA/AMPS modes and there is the
Thuraya satellite phone system with GSM900.  This only appears to be
available in North and Central Africa, Middle East, India, Central Asia and
Europe.  There's also the Vodafone Globalstar system in and around Australia
which is an integrated satellite and GSM900 system.  Hope this helps!
