data cable

i have the nokia 8390 and looking to get the data cable for it hwoever all
the ones i see , i thik you take you sim out of the phone and pop it in the
end of the cable .

what is better to get , the data cable or an infared port for my computer ?

i am wanting to backup my phonebook and transfer graphics ect...

is there a differance between useing an ird and the data cable ?

i already have my phone unlocked by keypress

I haven't noticed any difference...I think the only stuff you can't do are
on the techie side...I do logo's ringtones...back up my sim card etc over it
