Any ideas when this phone is being released in the UK
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,62356,00.html
Any ideas of the price & also how does it work as it doesn use a numeric
keypad - is this a touch screen with a stylus?
Many Thanks

Should be released before xmas technically, however if it is it will be VERY
close to xmas.
The "interface" as such is a mix between a little rotating thingit (similar
to... um... a volume control knob) and voice controls.

It's being advertised in the press, so my best guess (as Nokia are very
sparse with this kind of information) is that it's scheduled for release in
time for Xmas.
Hope this helps.

Have a (broken)one in front of me--had it in jacket pocket and sat on it.
In the time it worked it was a pain in the butt---why can we not have a
phone that is a phone not a multimedia center?--it does nothing well,it is
inconvenient to use,not user friendly--damn glad it was a trialer
Wait till you see the "life enhancing" options that are on the way with G3.
A phone is a phone,not a camera,not a laptop (PDA's are another gadget)

So why did you buy it then ? A Nokia 3310 just might be more suited to
your needs.

Then save yourself a lot of money and buy a 3310.

I agree! Stick with 3 X 4 keypad whatever you get, I've got a Nokia 3650
http://tinyurl.com/68f5k a great phone that does everything, I even play the old
Commie 64 games on it. But the keypad is a problem, you lose pattern dialing and
you have no idea how much you rely on it.
I've had one person hand me back my phone to dial their own number. It takes
some time just to dial a number.

Hence the 3660 was released soon afterwards. So was the 6610 after the 7210,
then the 6670 after the 7610.
See a pattern anyone? I wonder when the "sensible successor" for the 7280
will arrive? :)
