Are there any sites offering schematics for building your own
simm reader for phone book copying and such. I know I can
purchase readers...but the tech in me wants to build
one...tks

A SIM programs like a microcontroller. There are a few sites (at
least) that have schematics and explanations, but I've never saved any
urls.
