If you want to use it with a cingular SIM you'll need to have the
subsidy lock defeated either by using a code generator (if there is
one for LG) or having someone who does phone unlocking unlock it for
you.  Otherwise you'll have to get a phone from cingular or get an
unlocked phone from elsewhere.
