Q: How to adjust ringing duration before incoming call goes to voicemail?
A: Standard GSM codes; i.e., works only for GSM, not AMPS, TDMA (D-AMPS,
  IS-136), CDMA, or iDEN.

  Divert Voice Calls, No Answer
Delay nn seconds: max 30 seconds, in 5 second increments
     Set: **61*destination*11*nn#[SEND]
     Cancel: ##61*11#[SEND]
     Query: *#61*11#[SEND]

May not work on all networks; does work on Cingular.
The "destination" is the voice mailbox number, not your mobile number!
Do a Query first to get the correct destination number.

John -

Thanks for sharing this information.  I tried it on my T-Mobile (US) phone,
and it does NOT work (at least the Query, so I didn't even try the
others....).

I'm surprised at least Query doesn't work.  Are you sure?  Anyone else on
T-Mobile have any luck (one way or the other)?

As per another post on here some time ago, I had to call T-Mobile CS
and ask the "determined call forwarding" to be removed from my account
profile. If the CSR doesnt know what you're talking about, ask for the
call forwarding to your voice mail to be turned off or ask for tech
support. Once that is removed, your forwarding doesnt default to
805-MESSAGE. The code I use is *004*+xxxxxxxxxxx*11*tt# then send. The
x's are the forwarding number you want (including '1' before the area
code) and tt is the ring time you want (5-30 seconds). On the other
hand, ##004# send turns off all forwarding. In this mode, if you dont
answer it rings longer (about 1 minute) and then callers either get a
fast busy or the "customer is unvailable" message. Also, in this mode,
callers get the customer is unavailable message when the phone is
unreachable (turned off) or a busy signal if you are busy or reject the
call.

I have the T-Mobile Sidekick II and am here in Oklahoma. It worked for me
kinda. I punched in the Query and it gave it to me.
