I have an old motorola phone that is locked to One to One in the UK. I
also have 2 10 UKP cards from when I was using it (about 3 years ago).
I lost the line (and my balance) because at the time they had a
wierd roaming system where you called a number with a code and it
called you back. This was an offical One to One service. However,
they did not count calls made by it as a call for the one call per
six months rule.
I don't think it's worth the money to pay an online unlocker, but
I'd rather not toss the phone and the 20 UKP credit.
If I wanted to use it again, I have the following questions:
1. I know that the network was sold, what is it's current name?
2. Does a phone SP locked to the old network work with the new one's sims?
3. If someone were to buy a Virgin SIM would that work? (it used to).
4. Does the current network accept three year old "top up" cards?
5. Did they ever go to CAMEL roaming? (allowing a pay as you go phone
to roam normaly).
TIA,
Geoff.

Look at the refill voucher card and see if it has an expiry date by
which time it must be used.

T-Mobile was the company that assumed the business that was one2one.

If it was SP locked to one2one it's locked to the T-Mobile network.

More than likely since Virgin uses the T-Mobile network as a virtual
operator.
>4. Does the current network accept three year old "top up" cards?
Does the card have an expiry time by which you must use the top up
vouchers?

They may have it now with some countries but last time I used the
service (from the US) it required some sort of call back scheme.
