Hi,

My sister in Florida has a Siemens M56 phone that she bought from AT&T some
years ago. She has since switched to T-Mobile and has a phone that she does
no longer likes. She wants to use her Siemens phone on T-Mobile.  She is no
longer an AT&T/Cingular customer. How can she get the phone unlocked? Once
the weather clears up and she becomes reachable again what should I tell
her?

Cheers,
Mike H.

Since that's an AT&T phone, Cingular may not want to unlock it. She ma
have to resort to a third party to get it unlocked

Thanks mrcamp. That is the way things are looking. I told he get a
replacement unlocked phone on eBay or overstock.com. Overstock.com has lots
of old reliable unlocked GSM phones for cheap.

Cheers,
Mike H.
