T Mobile installed a new tower 200 yds from my house and outdoors I get
2-3+  Inside I get 0-2.  My house is stucco with a wire mesh covering
the house under the stucco which may be the reason for the drop.

Is is possible to get a car-like antenna or repeater to boost the signal
n the house?

It all depends upon whether your phone will take an external
antenna.  You would need FCC approval to transmit a signal.  You
would be vigorously opposed by T-Mobile, public safety agencies and
other GSM carriers.

I wondered if there was a car-like antenna that would carry the signal
into the house as through a window.

Your best option would be to get an in car kit with a glass mount
antenna.  Mount the antenna on a window and run the coaxial cable to a
place inside where you place your car kit, with a 12 Volt power supply
that you can get from an electronics store.

If you need to move around the house then you will need a Bluetooth
headset because you will not be able to take the phone out of the car kit.
