...and, is there a way to adjust the length of the video? Mine seems
to only be able to do a video of about 5 seconds. I checked the Manual
for the phone, but found no mention of how to adjust recording length.

If it’s the same thing like the V551, it’s probably set to MMS as vide
length by default. Go to Video->video setup and change video length t
Maximum from MMS(that’s what mine says

Thanks for the reply. Looks to be different than the V551 though. My
only choices for video setup, are the below along with the current
settings:

Auto Repeat: On
Lighting Conditions: Auto
Exposure: 0
Resolution: High (176x144)
Recording Sound: On

Thanks again for the feedback!

Yes, it's not the same. In addition to what you have, my V551 has:

Allow Alert
Video Length

Interesting. Well, wish I had the Video Length setting. The video
feature is somewhat impractical to me, but would be fun to play around
with if I could record a longer length.

Thanks for the clarification!

Yep, that's where your problem is and too bad that your video camera
is limited to a couple of hours. You are falling behind on the
technology. Best upgrade. :)
