Just bought a Nokia 6010 to use on T-mobile with a pay as you go plan. Will
use the included Sim card for use in US.
Would appreciate hints on how to unlock the phone so I can use it when in
France with a French Sim card.
Thanks

A Nokia 6010, locked or unlocked, will NOT WORK IN FRANCE.
The 6010 uses 850/1900 MHz frequencies (and T-Mobile may very well have
evne disabled 850). To use a cell phone in France you will require
900/1800 MHz, neither of which your phone has.

Sorry, but the 6010 is dual band 850 and 1900 Mhz. It will not work
at all anywhere outside of the Americas and certainly not in Europe at
all. There are several places you can get it unlocked either on line
or download an unlock code calculator. Do a google search.
