Infrustructure of a GSM network

hello All,
I have a presentation which subject is
"infrustructure of a GSM network,structure,task and interconnection of
elements"

I have problem with their interconnections,
I find diffrent explanation and picture about that.
for example is "AUC" connected to "HLR" or "VLR" or "MSC"?
and the same about other elements?!
would you please help me.
