Motorola L2000

I got a L2000 off ebay they said it was unlocked but when i put
my SIM CARD in and make a call it just beebs and i can't call.

any input would help   thank.

Looks like you got done!  :(

Have you contacted the seller to resolve?  If that fails you can always
report them to eBay for false and misleading advertising.

If the seller is not prepared to help you then you might have to leave
them bad feedback.

The odds of a GSM phone sold in The USA not being lock are slim and
none. Omnipoint used to sell some, but only from Omnipoint outlets,
not franchised outlets.  If the L2000 was sold by a US carriers, the
odds on it being unlocked are slim and none. I have won't buy a used
phone on eBay from a US seller.

There are still sellers of unlocked GSM phones in the USA (e.g.,
<http://www.expansys-usa.com/>), and the great majority of the unlocked phones
on eBay are legitimate.
