I'm sure if he could have, or if it was a question an English speaker could
answer, he would have. We live in a small world. Perhaps a little tolerance
of other languages is in order. Unfortunately, Polish is not a language
either I or Google can translate. So, he'll have to wait for a Polish
speaker to come along and answer his question.

Could be a long wait!

It's not a matter of being tolerant, rather frustration that we can't
help him. He would unfortunately have a better chance in a local
newsgroup that speaks his language if he can't type in English.

but as far I understand:

No, in roaming it's impossible to reach an 0800 number :)

I believe the question is: When roaming are 0800 (Freephone numbers) free or
are they chargeable?

I have found when roaming you are charged for 'Freephone' numbers at the
roaming rate you are charged for calls within that country.
