( x-posting to alt.cellular.gsm and alt... voicestream) Looking for a phone which, on receiving an e-mail (or sms...) would beep the initial alert, but also, if not ack'ed, repeat the beeping every minute or so. (like, oh, a beeper....) Any suggestions? All cheerfully accepted. (must be usable in the US...) At least it does it for missed calls and voicemails - I don't currently use SMS, so I'm not sure about SMS but I think the feature is available for SMS too. The V188 is a T-Mobile USA phone. Other, less crappy Motorola handsets probably have the feature too. Not a popular phone mind you, but the Siemens CF62 beeps every minute or so if you don't check a alert for SMS, text, or missed call.
