I have two Motorola V180 phones.  One for myself and one for my wife.
I have replaced her phone (under warranty) once already for a problem
with a bad electrical connection at the hinge of the flip.  She claims
her new phone is going out again (after 3 months).  I have the same
phone .  I do not use it NEAR as much as her and I have not had this
problem.

What are your experiences with "flip" phones?  Is this a common problem
with all manufacturers?.  A problem with just the V180? Or just a
problem with my wife?

Thanks,

Todd K.

The V180 is a low-end phone.  I've never seen this problem with high-end
phones (e.g., V551).
