Can someone suggest a prpaid SIM that can be purchased in the US and used
overseas (Egypt, Israel)?  I called T-Mobile and Cingular this morning and
was told by each that their prepaid SIM cards work in the US only.... no
international roaming.

Thanks.

I think you are in for a tough time, but see if a Virgin Mobile
Prepaid will work. They roam in quite a few countries, but I don't
know if it includes Israel and/or Egypt

Highly recommend www.prepaidgsm.net

You can purchase some SIM cards online from the companies themselves
BEFORE you go.

I myself have a United Mobile card, but there are other INTERNATIONAL
providers.

You can also check EBAY for single country SIMs.  I have seen SIM cards
for Israel offered numerous times if you go the single-country route.

Good luck,

Stan
