The Swedish company Tele2 runs a GSM net in each of the three Baltic
states, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

As from earliy summer they removed ALL extra roaming fees when using a
Tele2 PrePaid card in either country.

So if you, for example, have a Latvian Tele2 PrePaid Zelta Zivtina
card, you are able to use it EXACTLY the same way in the Tele2 nets of
all three countries! At exactly the same costs, services and
abriviated numbers.

There is only one small "but", you must use the recharge coupon from
your own net. So you'll have to bring it with you when you cross the
boarder.

But they are harmonising the systems, so I think that in the near
future you'll be able to use any Baltic Tele2 coupon.

You can also use the cards in almost any GSM country, but with
roamings fees, and no sending of SMSs.

The Baltic GSM market is dynamic and interesting. One is often lead to
believe that it's the backyard of Europe, but it's definitely not!!!

Do you mean that if I receive a call to a tele2 sim from Estonia while
in Lithuania I don't have to pay any incoming roaming fee? :^O
