SMS from Chinese mobile operator to foreign mobile phones

Hello,

Is it possible to send SMS (text messages) from a Chinese mobile phone
(i.e., with a Chinese mobile operator such as China Mobile) to foreign
mobile phones or is it blocked?

China Mobiles prepaid card "Shenzhouxing" is blocked for international
SMSs.

Thanks for the info. But one can make int'l calls with it. Weird concept?
Any way to unblock the SMS block for international SMS?

No, since there´s no GPRS you can't use any work around, like java
applications sending the messages.

No I meant, paying an unblock fee with Chinamobilcom. :-)

No, it's just not available for Prepaids.
