Sorry, I don't quite understand you - what is the "original" screensaver?
The screensaver I'm referring to was already installed on my mobile, I have
not downloaded it or something similar. Until now, I have not had a
screensaver.

Normally there is a setting for your "original" screen saver which you
decide the delay before the screen saver takes effect or kicks in. If
it does try setting it to 0 as that normally means it will not count
down and activate, basically preventing it from coming on.
