I'm a little bitter (OK, a lot bitter) about losing my $3.33/month
accumulated 478 Callplus minutes in a few months and having to replace my
cheap phone with a more expensive GSM phone and service.
I might actually use 5 minutes a month, but not in all months. Looking at
the Virgin, T-Mobile and Tracphone websites isn't all that informative.
I want a phone that works, maybe with speakerphone capability but it's not
essential. No text, no games, no special ringtones, just plain Luddite
service. Rolling over minutes as long as I keep up service is essential
unless the per-minute charge is ridiculously low and I only have to buy a
few of them. I'd also like to not have to go through this exercise again
for a LONG time.
So what Los Angeles area phone/service do I want?
