I HAVE PURCHASED A MOTOROLA KRAZR, QUAD BAND, UNLOCKED, TO USE IN
EUROPE.  I ALSO WANT TO USE IT IN THE U.S. (I LIVE IN MADISON,
WISCONSIN).

I AM LOOKING FOR A GSM SERVICE PROVIDER HERE IN THE U.S. THAT WILL
PROVIDE SERVICE FOR THIS PHONE ON A PRE-PAID (NO MONTHLY FEE) BASIS.

WHICH OF THE CARRIERS WOULD PROVIDE ME THE BROADEST COVERAGE HERE AT
HOME?

THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION YOU CAN GIVE ME.

Cingular and T-Mobile have prepaid plans than can be used with any
compatible GSM phone. Mass-market sales are geared to SIM-plus-phone
bundles but you can get a SIM-only package at company-run stores.

T-Mobile is cheaper; Cingular has better coverage outside of cities and
away from major highways.

Please don't shout.  Using all upper case characters is considered bad form.

T-Mobile will provide a pay as you go service.

As long as it is Quad-band, it is kind of a tossup between T-Mobile
and ATT/Cingular. T-Mobile is mostly 1900Mhz coverage, Cingular has a
lot of old wire-line licenses, so has a long of 800/850Mhz coverage.

Both offer prepaid SIMS.

Firstly, caps lock stuck?

If not, why are you SHOUTING at us?

Secondly, have a look at http://tinyurl.com/6m28u

Google is your friend.

go to ebay, type 290109310992 to the search bar and hit enter. That
auction is a good example of what you are looking for. You need a kit
with an activation code.
