I HAVE PURCHASED A MOTOROLA KRAZR, QUAD BAND, UNLOCKED, TO USE IN EUROPE. I ALSO WANT TO USE IT IN THE U.S. (I LIVE IN MADISON, WISCONSIN). I AM LOOKING FOR A GSM SERVICE PROVIDER HERE IN THE U.S. THAT WILL PROVIDE SERVICE FOR THIS PHONE ON A PRE-PAID (NO MONTHLY FEE) BASIS. Cingular and T-Mobile have prepaid plans than can be used with any compatible GSM phone. Mass-market sales are geared to SIM-plus-phone bundles but you can get a SIM-only package at company-run stores. As long as it is Quad-band, it is kind of a tossup between T-Mobile and ATT/Cingular. T-Mobile is mostly 1900Mhz coverage, Cingular has a lot of old wire-line licenses, so has a long of 800/850Mhz coverage. Both offer prepaid SIMS. >THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION YOU CAN GIVE ME.
